Venus and Mars: an intrepid travellers' guide
02 / 12 / 09

The public sector in the UK takes diversity very seriously, so it was no surprise when I was asked to give the keynote speech in October to their northern HR conference addressing the issue of communications between men and women at work. Miscommunications, misunderstandings and even conflicts between male and female styles take up valuable time, waste money and disturb morale and are to be avoided. This seminar discussed the main differences between the approaches and language used at work by men and women, and how the audience might modify their behaviour when working with the other gender. We had a lot of fun!

To hear a podcast of a short interview about this speech, go to:

The podcast contains interviews with the other speakers, so to find mine, move the timer bar to 12 minutes 50 seconds into the podcast and there I will be. Enjoy!
